Welcome to Musée

Musée is a community built by and for artists. We believe in fostering creativity, mutual respect, and genuine connection between artists and patrons. These guidelines exist to keep our gallery a safe, inspiring space for everyone.

What We Encourage

• Original artwork — Share your paintings, photography, sculptures, digital art, music, and creative work
• Respectful engagement — Leave thoughtful comments and support fellow artists
• Authentic connections — Follow artists whose work inspires you and support them through micro-donations
• Creative freedom — Explore different styles, mediums, and ideas

What's Not Allowed

• Harassment or bullying — No targeted abuse, threats, or intimidation of any kind
• Hate speech — No content that promotes violence or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability
• Copyright infringement — Only upload work you created or have rights to share. Give credit when appropriate
• Spam or fraud — No fake accounts, misleading content, or attempts to manipulate the patronage system
• Explicit content — No pornographic or gratuitously violent content. Artistic nudity may be permitted in context
• Illegal activity — No content promoting illegal activities or depicting exploitation of minors
• Impersonation — Don't pretend to be another artist or public figure

Reporting Content

If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it using the flag icon on any exhibit or comment. Our team reviews all reports and takes action within 24 hours. You can report content for being:

• Inappropriate or offensive
• Spam or misleading
• A copyright violation
• Harassment or bullying

Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Content removal
• Account warning
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent account termination

We apply consequences proportionally based on the severity and frequency of violations. Serious violations (illegal content, threats of violence) may result in immediate account termination.

Patronage Guidelines

• Micro-donations are voluntary expressions of appreciation — never obligatory
• Don't solicit donations through excessive messaging or pressure
• Musée retains a 2% platform fee on all transactions; the remaining 98% goes directly to artists
• Any attempts to abuse the payment system will result in account termination
